Pitches may explore garment details, materials, personal style, dress customs or fashion history. We favour focused subjects that can be explained clearly, offer readers a fresh way to notice or think, and do not depend on unsupported claims or access to private information.
A strong pitch
Tell us the working title, the central question and the main idea the article will leave readers with. Include a short outline, the intended reader and any relevant sources or expertise you would draw on. Please say whether the idea has been published elsewhere or sent to another outlet.
How to send it
